Parts Of A Computer

Since the computer has become a part of your life, you must know the various parts it has. The computer is an electronic device which was initially invented to do small tasks. But now, the computer is used for various other things, from communicating with people all around the world to doing all the daily jobs based on the reminders set in it.

The computer mainly has the input and output unit, the memory unit, the central processing unit and the arithmetic and logic unit. These parts make up the computer. The input and output units are what you can see physically, the rest are either protected or hidden from you. They are done so because these help in the working of the computer while the other two are for the user.

The input units are the keyboard, mouse, etc through which you give the input to the computer but cannot receive the output from it. The output unit is the computer screen, the printer, etc from which you get the output for the command you have given the computer to do. These two units are the ones which interact with the users directly.

The memory unit is used to store the various data which computer processes or takes in. this unit is responsible for giving you the saved items when you ask for them. The CPU on the other hand is the master of all. It is the one which directs the computer what to do and how to do the things and processes the commands given to it.

The ALU is responsible for the various calculations and logic results which are done on the system. It helps the computer to process the data properly. The computer science is a vast area where you have a lot of things to learn and understand.
